                                                                                           OUR SERVICE STANDARD

We strive to maintain a service standard of no more than two weeks between your first having made contact and our reaching out to you.

During high volume periods, S O B TM prioritizes received reports in the following fashion:

Date of Event

Quality of Event – meaning – physical contact with the animal, sighting of, tracks/odor/vocalization, non-visual interaction with an animal, stick and rock formations. S O B TM further prioritizes within event classes, when applicable, those with reported recorded evidence.

Location of Event – meaning: proximity to available investigators.

At your request, an investigator will contact you.

One thing that is surprising is the number of reports where Sasquatch are
encountered within close proximity to large urban/heavily populated areas.

These may be chance encounters with a transitory individual making their way to an adjacent feeding site or as part of a seasonal migration. S O B members maintain a list of reports from/within Ontario. We watch these reports for clusters of activity and will travel onsite to investigate properties having a significant history of continual Sasquatch presence. The S O B group is focused primarily on locating and monitoring sites that indicate signs of activity as well as following up on reports within our jurisdiction.

NO REPORT IS INSIGNIFICANT. IF YOU HAVE HAD AN UNUSUAL EXPERIENCE PLEASE CONTACT US.
WE ARE ALSO INTERESTED IN RECEIVING REPORTS REGARDING SIGNS OF SASQUATCH ACTIVITY.

If you come across suspected stick structures, successive tree breaks , unusual animal kills or experience hearing unusual animal calls or tree knocking  in rural wilderness areas we would also be interested in hearing about such activity. Please use the form above or you can simply email us at seekingontariosbigfoot@gmail.com. There are many online examples of Sasquatch tree structures. The following link has many examples of typical structures

                                                                     SIGNS OF POSSIBLE BIGFOOT PRESENCE:

Please see below a non-exhaustive list of common signs suggestive of Bigfoot's presence in a particular area. The greater the number of indicators the more probable their presence, current and past.

                                                                                                 BE SKEPTICAL!

Ask and answer for yourself, how probable are the signs listed below which you may have experienced are also as likely
to have been produced by other humans?

                                                                                                     Footprints

      Human foot has an arch
Human big toe can be significantly bigger than other toes
Bigfoot print may show vertical line or crack in the print (metatarsal break )
      Bigfoot print has no arch
      Bigfoot print is much deeper
Bigfoot print may show marks from long toenails
Bigfoot print has a wide heel
       Human has narrow heel
Bigfoot toes may be splayed apart,
Human toes usually are close together from always wearing shoes
Bigfoot print is about twice as long as it is wide,
Human foot is 2 & 1/2 times as long as it is wide.
Note the picture's human toe angle and hump, compared to Bigfoot's smooth arc.
Humans may make barefoot prints on mud and sand maybe, but very few Canadians walk barefoot in snow.

                                                                                      Trackways   -  Walking only:

Human tracks average  2.5 feet, males 2.6  feet , sometimes slightly more for longer legs.
Female humans may average 2.2 to  2.5 feet apart.
Bigfoot tracks are about 5 feet apart
Bf tracks are usually in a straight line.

                                                                                                        Obvious

  • Human like footprints the proportions of which are distinctly non-human (wide ball, no arch, broad heel)
  • When a series of footprints are found, both the left and right foot are placed inline with one another, whereas, humans place their respective feet to the left or right of the preceding foot while walking naturally.
  • Objects are thrown at you in wilderness regions when/where no humans are likely
  • Sudden onset of a Foul smell
  • Sudden onset of intense feelings of nervousness or of being watched
  • Unusual sounding vocals akin to speech (such as gibberish or chattering)
  • While walking, hearing the tap(ping) or clack(ing) of rocks brought together or knock(ing) of wood against wood
                                                                                                            Subtle

  • Sudden onset of total silence
  • Heavy trees stuffed into other trees, often of a different species with the root ball pointed skyward
  • Trees or branches which are broken and twisted beyond human ability, such that a mechanical means would need to be applied
  • Twisted tree breaks are usually accompanied by similar breaks along its line of orientation in both directions
  • Teepee like, A-frame, or blind type structures of various dimensions and diameter of wood, often near human and game trails
  • Structures may possess human refuse and no sign of a fire or cigarettes
  • Other wood formations such as tri-pods of various dimensions and diameter of wood, obviously assembled, the bases of one or more which are jammed into the earth, no root
  • Corridors within the forest, such that no branches to heights of 10 ft. penetrate it and the ground is generally clear of obstacles
  • Deeper sounding wolf-like howls at night
  • The sounding of whoops, akin to ranchers herding cattle, absent the calls of cattle
  • Dogs, horses, deer act scared or upset, agitated or staring into forest in a particular direction or specific time of day
  • Loud, bang or banging/knock(ing) on a building's wall
  • Missing food items from outdoor freezers, missing feed-stock from covered bins, livestock coops, such that the latch was used, fruit trees to heights of 10 feet stripped, usually from the side nearest to forest or other concealment
  • Corn or other crops methodically stripped, usually in areas adjacent to forests or other concealment
  • Bedding areas composed of materials brought from elsewhere
  • Animal skeletons displaying broken necks, large bone(s) snapped in half, no chew marks
  • Recently dead deer and other ungulates with broken necks with the belly torn open, as if by hand, organs missing
  • Numerous dead rodents, showing no sign of predation strewn along human roads and pathways

Since the fall of 2016, the majority of the signs listed above have been experienced by S O B TM members in Southern Ontario

If you, upon reflection, recall experiencing any of the obvious signs or a series of subtle ones, we encourage you to share your            experience(s) with us.
